About

Diet-specific recipes where every macro on the card is computed from weighed ingredients — because “roughly 400 calories” is not a number you can plan a day around.

  • Computed, not estimated. Every ingredient is weighed and priced against USDA FoodData Central, batch totals are divided by real servings, and the macro math is checked before anything is published.
  • Four diets, one system. Keto, Mediterranean, vegan and carnivore — each recipe is verified against its diet’s actual rules, not just tagged with the word.
  • Honest sourcing. Temperatures and storage times come from food-safety authorities, and health claims either carry a reliable source or get cut.
  • You ask, we cook. Reader requests go into the development queue, and dishes several people ask for get developed first — then published with full macros.

Why this site exists

Most recipe sites treat nutrition as an afterthought — a plugin guesses the calories and nobody checks. Recipes Diet started from the opposite end: if you are eating keto, Mediterranean, vegan or carnivore, the numbers are the recipe. So every dish here is built ingredient by ingredient against USDA FoodData Central, the batch is divided by real servings, and the protein-carb-fat arithmetic is checked against the calories before publication. When we say 45g of protein, we can show the math.

How a recipe gets published

Each recipe begins with research — reliable sources for the method and its failure points, food-safety authorities for temperatures and storage, and a diet check against the actual rules of its category: net carbs computed for keto, every ingredient screened for vegan, pattern honesty for Mediterranean. Then it is written for the cook: a checklist you can tap through with one hand, numbered steps with the reason behind each one, swaps that were recalculated rather than guessed, and storage guidance you can trust.

What we ask of you

Cook the recipes, rate them — ratings are open to everyone, no account needed — and when something you want is missing, request it. The queue is sorted by demand, and the numbers on our calculator pair with the numbers on every recipe card, so what you plan is what you cook.
